The Centre for Communication and Change – India (CCC-I) –
is registered in India as a trust, specializing in the development and implementation of strategic health communication programs and projects as well as capacity building for government and local organizations to design and implement strategic communication.
An intellectual offshoot of the Centre for Communication Programs (CCP) www.jhuccp.org at the Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, CCC-I was created in 2011 as a way to ensure the availability of quality expertise in strategic behaviour change communication (SBCC) in India. The affiliation allows CCC-I to be locally relevant while still drawing form JHU.CCP’s formidable international experience and expertise.
CCC-I nurtures the central role communication plays in health and development in India and works closely with central and state government departments, development sector partners, NGOs, media and various other stakeholders on the full range of SBCC from formative research and strategic design to implementation and evaluation.
Our vision is an Indian society where individuals, families and communities are motivated to take well-informed decisions and actions to improve and maintain their health and well-being.
