Innovative Mobile-Based Audio-Visual Tool for Demand Creation for Polio and Routine Vaccines

For this mHealth project, CCC-I performed a rapid assessment of over 4000 members of the social mobilization network in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, examining the type of phones used and usage skills. Further, CCC-I developed a mobile application with existing UNICEF-produced films converted into mobile-friendly format and loaded on to phones used by the network. The community mobilization network in the two states will use this audio-visual content to motivate and educate community members about vaccines, creating demand and increasing the rate of Polio and Routine Immunization.
