The Tamil Nadu Health System Reform Program (TNHSRP) is a significant initiative supported by the World Bank and implemented by the Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoH&FW), Government of Tamil Nadu. The program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which focuses on ensuring good health and well-being for all.
TNHSRP aimed to strengthen Tamil Nadu’s health system through various initiatives, such as preventing and treating non-communicable diseases (NCDs), conducting Health Assemblies, implementing the Operational Research Program (ORP), and developing a Population Health Registry, while also focusing on enhancing the quality of care. CCCI Social and Development Research contributed to the documentation and dissemination of these initiatives, including insights and practices related to reforming the Trauma and Emergency Care System. CCCI SDR is engaged in this project as part of a consortium that includes the World Bank, TNHSRP, Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP), and The India Primary Health Care Support Initiative (IPSI).
