CCC-I evolved guidelines, framework and systems to strengthen community
outreach services and document good practices with regard to community
mobilization in urban areas. After conducting site visits over a period of a
year, reviewing National Urban Health Mission documents and practices,
interacting and consulting with governments at the national, state and district
levels, CCC-I developed a set of recommendations and promising practices. These
were submitted to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
