ROSHNI (Rights for Sanitation, Health, and Nutrition Initiative)

In 2016, CCC-I working in partnership with CCP completed phase I of the ROSHNI project. This demonstration project focussed on reducing stunting among children 0-36 months of age and improving child health in one district each of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. The strategic interventions in the project focused on integrating nutrition (Integrated Child Development Services delivered) and WASH (Swacch Bharat-based) behaviours and promoting Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF). Phase I of the project involved conducting desk review; performing content analysis of over 500 communication materials in Telugu, Odiya, Urdu, and Hindi; and conducting over 70 in-depth interviews, key informant interviews and focus group discussions with different stakeholders in the three states and New Delhi.
